Jack Lin, TGI's Managing Director, was appointed a
Member of the Validation and Approval Panel for the
University of Bedforshire’s two master courses:
MSc
in Logistics and Supply Chain Business Management and MSc
in Engineering Business Management.
On 15 June 2011, Jack Lin, together with Mr Paul
Davies, Associate Dean and Head of Department of
Secondary and Post-Compulsory Education, Faculty of
Education, Sport and Tourism, University of Bedfordshire,
Dr Candan Ertubey, Senior Lecturer, Psychology,
Department of Psychology, Faculty of Health and Social
Sciences, University of Bedfordshire, and Dr Zhou Li,
Senior Lecturer, Business School, University of Greenwich,
participated in the Course Approval Event, vital for
maintaining standards and teaching quality.

03/05/2011 - Important new developments at Top Group
International BV!
Top Group International BV has successfully finalised the
first phases of the implementation of SAP systems for her
logistic activities. SAP is one of the leading suppliers of
ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, in particular in
the manufacturing industry. We have chosen SAP because it
enables us to meet the increasing requirements of our
customers regarding data exchange. Additionally, with the
new system we can further enhance our service as well as
improve our efficiency.
Top Group International BV will extend the implementation of
SAP software to its other departments once the current
stages are stabilised.
Top Group International BV is preparing the status of
Authorised Economic Operator (AEO). This status is given by
the Dutch Customs Service to companies in the field of
transport and logistics that have proven to be reliable in
their operations, in particular regarding security. Our
performance, internally and externally, has to be documented
and standardised and will be checked by authorities on a
regular basis.

To enhance its internal IT system and structure, Top Group
has recently further improved its warehouse handling by
adopting a SAP warehousing system, implemented by Logifact
Group. SAP ("Systems, Applications, and Products in Data
Processing") is a leading provider of business software in
the world, and among its clients are Lufthansa, Porsche, and
Discovery Channel. Click

Top Group is planning to introduce SAP software solutions
gradually over the next two years to customs, forwarding and
finance as well.

Mr. Jack Lin has been appointed as Business Consultant by
the Port
of Rotterdam Authority. At their request. Mr. Lin, as an
expert on Far Eastern trade, has advised the PoR Authority
on how to develop and strengthen the Far Eastern business
for Rotterdam with emphasis on high-tech industries in
Taiwan, Hong Kong and China.
